Hello again

I've been a bad blogger recently . No Blogging at all. Shame upon me. LOL
But that is the thing that I should really keep up with since I want to be immersed in the fabulous world of fashion. I am into different so-called "streams" of fashion-and-style activity.  I make one-of-kind design jewelry, clothes, up-cycling, fashion illustration and I simply like apply all the sides of my fashion-attuned personality to my every-day looks. I pay a good attention to details, because little things form a compelling union. Everything is based on details. Details may ruin the look,or the opposite - to build a very sleek and chic one. I am going to post some looks of mine that I have been gathering throughout all these months of blog-silence and the ones I consider my favorite.

Look Of the day

This gloomy day inspired me for a ripe tangerine shade. I rummaged through the plethora of tangerine aka orange garments that chill in my closet and found an ideal one for this day! The orange and beige striped airy three-forth sleeve knit. It is not hot, it is not cold outside. It is perfect! And the sun is peering out of immobile heavy clouds. So despite all the nastiness of the day there is still a dollop of joy;) And I finished my look with Jessica Simpson itsy-bitsy purse and Bebe side-studded heels.

Studs and chains for style!

Here is the shirt that went thru studding and cutting treatment. I neatly cut the back and upper part of the sleeves, that let the shirt to be air-circulating, breathing and truly summer! Plus that is a punchy element for a look. Gilded studs and chains give it an immaculate every-day style. That is what I think.

This look is a tad oversaturated with decoration, but that is still sleek!

Lace-my-space dsigned shorts

Another thing that I put my efforts and creativity in were two pair of shorts, that had their rebirth thanks to the ideas that payed me a visit one day. Everybody does it  with shorts nowadays. But I am striving to reach some unique design. At least , at some point.

To pump these ones up were easier than the second ones. I took a pair of knee-length shorts, trimmed it and attached a piece of flower print fabric, creamy shade lace and pearl-like beads. And I was thoroughly content with the results! So edgy, up-to-date and versatile. Wear it with whatever you want! Seriously.

These are my favorite ones. Flawless flower-strewn shorts captured my heart as soon as I pull em on. I wasn't expecting them to turn out to be that amazingly divine. I did not even put them on sell , cuz they are mine! One week of sleepless nites and with a piece by piece I constructed adorably stylish item.

My upcycled clothes line

Finally, I found time for posting my designed clothes work. For the very first "showcasing" post I chose a beige crop top that I served with an animal print triangle panel on the front and the same pattern shoulder pads, that I embraced with a faux saturated blue leather. And outlined that with the fancy metallic shades beads. And I occurred to be the very the first model for this starting recycled clothes line, strutting my way downtown Charlotte.

My recent looks/Style-dedication.

Fashion and trends come and go , come and go so fluently, but style is a thing either permanent or gradient. We love fashion, we follow trends and figure out what is more suitable for us. for me there is no activity more captivating, than trying to rummage through myriad of styles, accents and trends and matching up something that is really mine! I am a utterly selective person, that's why my one-day shopping ends up in buying a couple of things, but if I got them, they had all excited and enchanted with their sophistication and uniqueness. I love something regular as well and I tend to diffuse "regulars" with "uniqueness", that leads to the edgy look.

This outfit was based of mixing shabby grandma jeans supa-oversized shirt with Nine West polished  bow  wedges and Forever 21 garish floral bracelet.

Knitted Rue 21 top,  flower-strew Sans Souci high-waisted shorts, comfortable Lucky Brand flat sandals and a sleek Aldo sunglasses case that I managed to turn into an arm candy;)

This look is a bang on vintage oldie trend. Everything, except Urban Outfitters cream shade clutch, asymmetric adorned rocker-styled Jeniffer jacket and pieces of jewelry , were bought in fashion consignments for pennies.

I remember this early spring rainy day when I pulled on this form-fitting Abercombie&Fitch pants, jumped into these Calvin Klein wedge dopes and embraced myself in a rasberry shade Old navy shirt, grabbed my turned-into-an-arm-candy sunglasses case and stepped outside towards freshness of a new day.

I'll post some more looks the other days, but for now I am a passing out, lazy, comforting under the blanket type;)

Ann Demeulemeester asymmetric chic

Rummaging thru Ann Demeulemeester Spring 2012 RTW collection and I was struck by the asymmetry in the garments that is plain edgy and is pretty actual nowadays.
