Lace Frills.More Lace More Frills !

I want to write a pretty typical post about what I liked from Spring-Summer 2012 collections. Nothing special, but when I adore - I speak it out loud!
As always I find plenty of designers' launches, looking at which ones I get captured by incessant delight. There are some especially admirable!

 Magnificent lace collars, flawless puffball skirts and lace-lace-everywhere-lace garments made me profoundly obsessed with lace for an umpteenth time. Lace is something my eyes cannot miss. I believe they have this lace-identification inner mechanism in their structure. xxx
Louis Vuitton just splattered some salt on my lace-obsession wound.

Sarah Burton fashion-desires-inducing collection for Alexander McQueen also tease my lace-obsession fairly enough but not for quitting looking at that. "This is a collection about excess" - said Sarah Burton. Lace  ruche are obviously over the board. But in fashion we cannot say "too little" "too much". Fashion is Art, Art, in its turn, is self-expression. And self-expression is like a statement for each artist. He made this statement, and if he thinks that something is too much or too little - he's authorized to changed or justify it. Only he.
So I always see a doze of exaggeration in Alexander McQueen's collections, but that's one of characteristic features of the brand.
This spring-summer 2012 collection hit all the borders of femininity. Sheer, translucent fabrics, diaphanous chiffon, lace face veils, accentuated hemlines, exquisite folds compile a delicious filling for this big showcase cake.

 

Valentino as well made a precious contribution in lace and sheer fabrics design. These ankle-skimming gowns embody ultimate grace and feminine infinity. Wearing these stark beauty, your soul starts itching to walk down the marvelette forest of spacious sunlit chamomile field. A gust of feelings is over a board when you put or dream to put one of these sheer chick dresses on.

Jewel-coloured collection of YSL impressed me with its profundity and power of luxurious plum, blue, blueish black, grey and emerald green colours in flowing simple shapes.

Galliano's  frilled dresses is gorgeous epitome of frivolity, lightness and impeccable exquisiteness. 

Asymmetrically arranged frills of pastel shades get us tuning for blossomy spring and flowery summer days. Hats add this dresses a completely dewy-eyes girlishness.

Etherial spring-summer 2012 Lanvin allures us in a transparent and airy indulgence.

 

These forthcoming spring-summer seasons promise to be on the edge of femininity, airy floaty veil-covers and exquisite designs.

To beat authenticity

There are people who draw their inspiration in counterfeit fashion. On one hand that may seem immensely ridiculous, on the other - why not? as long as you're not launching that as these peddling fashion-abusers.  American artist Luis Gispert, while scrolling through some car show, got an influx of inspiration , having spotted a Cadillac with Louis Vuitton counterfeit fabric upholstered interior. That let him consummate his photo series that were eventually conjured into a sumptuous collection.
He had been traveling around the country for a year, attending on different car shows, gathering little by little his photo-collection.
These fake-brand-logo-splattered car interiors soon became a subject for his solo exhibition, that obtained a name of "Deception".
As far as the shades in his works go, we can clearly see they are matching with an environments that are outside. That serves each work with harmonic colour game and eye-relaxing impact.

 I really liked this Gucci-mimicked design. That's merely on the edge of luxury! (as all of the works, for sure) These idyllic beige shades play out this work this way that you cannot take your eyes off it. for at least 30 seconds. And my philosophy dictates "If you cannot take your eyes off something for more than 10 seconds(that's not a limit!) , consider it as something inevitably stunning".

 Louis Vuitton-imitated car interior in amalgamation with a landscape outside is bright enough to bedazzle а spectator. Radiantly bright that makes you crave to drive this pimped-out flawlessness. Or at least to take a ride, or two,.......or dozen ;)

 Neon green LV is something extraordinarily chic and modern. I can feel in it an influence of the new-wave and all these irrepressible youngsters, wearing neon colours as their pride.

Light pink Coco Chanel-imitated design is as sweet as inaugural strawberry at the beginning of its season. The shade also harks me back in the days when I was addicted to that alluring tender strawberry-filling milk chocolate. aMMMazing!:P

Fake is not about Fashion. And that is surely not appeared to be an authenticity attribute, but that became an Art-object.

imprescriptible аs heart.

Shoes is a "device" of our style. They appeared to be a chic finishing touch of our look. You can wear whatever you want whether it is a baggy dress, or shabby jeans with an old blazer, but if you take on a pair of neat, sleek and elegant shoes, that will automatically tone the paleness of overall look.

 So this post I want to dedicate to some certain fashionistas, whose stylish live I have followed closely for not a small period of time. The people who use all the fashion statements as properly as that supposed to be.

I really love a fashionable shoes kit of this fashionista. A good set of solid and punchy pairs. As we can see some of them are neutrals of black and white shades and the rest -embellished and decorated. I really got enchanted with these flower strapy heels and studded wedges.   <3

 This fashionista  has shoes for every case. The set has something and for a mild cozy evening and for friends cocktails night and for effortless striding down the streets and for a fashion night out. Very comfortable flats,  slick strap sandals, leather glam-rocks.

 This fashionista has incandescently posh shoes, that are always in good quality and amazing representation. I'd put these  black lacquered flats as an exposure in the museum of fashion. They are surely unbeaten!! The set of this fashionista definitely scores praise  from front-row fashion regulars.

Really loved this fashionista "armour". Despite the majority of them go in black, this colour is perfectly covered and justified with varying shapes and dominating elements like studs, lace,straps and zippers. Racy red lace-up platforms is the most conspicuous part of this shoes set and surely they gained my attention, cuz I'm a such a fun of exuberant and vibrant colours accessories!

And finally I'm going to so-called demonstrate my humble set of shoes that I'm currently wearing. That's surely not the whole set, but some selected ones))))

 These Calvin Klein wedge sandals are my faves. That took only one sneak peak when I fell in love with them from the first sight. I bought em the next minute!)

 My Toms are shoes so suitable for almost every case. Downright comfortable and beloved.

My Forever 21 lace-up oxfords are embracing my feet every now and then when that comes to literally all kind of outfits. I wear it with jeans and blouse, with some dresses, shorts and skirts.

There are no doubts that shoes speak volumes in this world. At least in some society circles.

Guo Pei foray

There is nothing so interest-inducing for me in this world but complexity and consummation of shapes.  Recently I have been closely-discerning unusual designs of Guo Pei, a chinese designer, who was underexposed for the whole world for a long time.

Staying in shadow for the majority of the world, Guo Pei was creating and launching her striking fashion in China.  Aggressive forms are embraced with unusually delicate interpretation. The shapes are consummated with smooth chic touch.

Impressing embroidery and posh embellishments are inevitable attributes for Guo Pei designs.
That's mostly taken from Eastern culture, as we can see. The motives, fabric patterns are gradually switching, unlike the shapes, that are uneven. 

As a person who has an unlimited obsession for beads, I couldn't pass the shoes by without passionate visual study. Thick-placed beads, glass beads of different sizes and shapes create an imagery of royal luxuries. It is placed chaotically but simultaneously that has a particular order, twirling around some shapes. That's something that keeps me salivating, when I look at this. The last ones I'd wear like a regular daily shoes just for treading my way down the city. I'd wear them skinny blue or black jeans and sheer blouse with long sleeves or with an airy floating creamy shades midi dresses. If only I had a chance)))))))

 When I was studying Guo Pei garments , I felt like I was i one of the chinese dramatic Art theaters. That really dazed me out of my head. Plenty of artsy elements and every-inch rich embellishments turn Guo Pei creations into an avant-garde influenced fashion statement. Guo Pei is an doyenne. She knows her job.

Mystique is where Akhmadulina is

I always  was stricken by Alena Akhmadulina designs. And I think it's pressing time to utter a word about it.
I love the way Alena Akhmadulina, using harking-back to the past elements, create something revolutionary modern. These devices, that she incorporates altogerher, occur to be a lynchpin of her unbeaten style.

 

 Killing slew of dramatic prints, strewn all over the garments, adds a sleek and and impressing visualization to each item. Neat prints go together with the muted shades background and creates a perfect contrasting impact. We can see an overwhelming amount of flowers wild animals prints, twirled with each other, making  from each garment an irresistibly stunning object of Art.
Alena Akhmadulina's design finds its reflection in folklore and native culture. In its turn, each design is embraced with stark exquisiteness and individual stylish approaches.
I like the way Alena Akhmadulina uses classical methods and cuts for achieving an utter individuality.

I was stupefied ,in good meaning of the word, with artificial hair attire. These floating elements, falling down from a certain spots. create an eye-catching effect. Flawless shapes are an ideal base for intriguing punchy elements.

I totally fell in love with 2012 shoes collection. Immaculately executed and attached frills transform the shoes in a plain fashion statement! Fin-like heels is a key to stainless uniqueness and irresistible treading the board.

All in all , each garment is infused with a  special sophisticated mystique and boldness.  You gotta be pretty unafraid to put on Alena Akhmadulina's creations.

 

bow wow ruffle wow flower wow

The fact that most of my time I spend indoors shouldn't prevent me from looking cute and from all these antics in front of mirror. I try to dress up every day whether I head anywhere or stay at home. That's what I managed to pull on today.

 

I snapped myself in the mirror of my work room, like I always do when I have some inspiration for posing to myself.xxx

Simple but I don't disgust myself when I look more or less neat in the reflection.

                               J.Crew shirt with this enchanting bow cut-out is one of my fave.
Bows,ruffles, lace, beads, flowers are my recreation. So I always have at least one of this precious elements of mine in my look.

 Ruffle-waisted shorts were dug out of summer wardrobe, that were just must-have number one of mine the last summer.

Here we go, flowery element. A camomile-cored ring bought  only for a dollar in some random store in a mall during this scary post-Christmas retail. xxxx

Red Label tastes better

So, I love revolutionary designers, who do what they want to do and score legitimate respect. I adore what Galliano does all the time, Viktor&Rolf - exaggerate things and how Vivienne Westwood is so unafraid and daring all the time. But having checked V.W red label 2012, I revealed that I liked it better unlike just Vivienne Westwood rtw collection. I like the way the lines are more are smooth and the cut is not aggressive.

Fluidity of fabrics, light shades and as always royally chic hair - are just a feast for my eyes.
